bookshelves: fantasy, young-adult

Okay, I will admit that I skimmed through large portions of this one. I am so torn because I think the premise of this series is really neat (even if I could see where it was going about 50 pages into the first book). But the writing is lack luster and it is SLOW. The characters spend way too much time just sitting around, talking about what they need to do, are going to do, or have done. Maybe I were to listen on audio, then I could just space out on those slow parts.

I will continue the series, because the next book is up for me at the library and I like the premise. I just need to be prepared to skim through parts I guess.
