it was amazing
bookshelves: gltb, 1930s, historical
Read from April 17 to May 01, 2011 — I own a copy, read count: 1

Much more political than I expected - liked that very much.

While her cousin Claudia is attracted to the German Nazi-party - Verity "Vee" is certain that only comunism can change and save the world - she actually starts to work as an secret agent for Moscow! And Moscow does not think that Vee should decide for her own when to quit her "job"..

Of course this is a so called "women's fiction" novel - and one of the quite intelligent one!

I certainly won't stop to read each and every novel by Elizabeth Edmondson!! :")
