The story switches from Phoebe, Lauren, to Nick. These three teenagers are mysteriously invited to join the Society. You can't just refuse the Society and everyone that has ever joined has had all of their secret dreams and ambitions come true. As they get deeper into the Society, they begin to question if it is really a good thing to be a part of.
This book was not as good as I would have been hoping but there is a lot of mystery that makes you want to keep reading. The Society almost seems too good to be true and they are all just magically given what they want whenever without having to work. I like this book because I like to think of what I would do if put in a situation where you really can't say no without putting yourself in danger but you don't want to say yes.
