We met Don Richardson about 7 years ago. I can't believe I still haven't read his book, expecially after hearing him speak several times. This book is exciting. It's a combination of anthropological study, high adventure, and spiritual challenge all at once.--- Just finished this book. While the description of the cannibalistic practices were so gruesome, it was thrilling to see the redemptive analogies God had in place, awaiting one who would deliver the news of the Peace Child! To see a movement of faith, of belief, of response to the revealed Presence of the Living God in a people who were in such darkness for so long is breathtaking!
