Now this was an interesting case. I enjoyed the first book despite how busy it was and despised the second for how much of the pertinent action was never covered as well as the characters I didn't care for getting the spotlight. This book was just right. Everyone shared the spotlight just enough, the story had a much more natural progression, and most importantly, it had a wonderful ending that tied everything together while leaving few (yet interesting) threads for later exploration. Definitely one of the more satisfying conclusions I've read in a great while.
