Hmmm... where to began??
The book picks up where the 1st one left off. Riley and her brother Seth, is on da island getting detoxed from the two powerful vamps Victorian and Valerian. Unfortunately, both vamps got their hands on Riley and now their DNA is mixed with in her giving her "vampire tendencies". She is still mortal however and is working with Preacher and Eli and his family on how to deal with the "tendencies".
Through out the beginning of the book, Riley and Eli get physical, really physical. Don't get me wrong, I loved it but found some times that it was just a bit too much.
The story flowed and keep me interested and guessing. I did however figure out the man in her dreams before any of the characters put two and two together.
I don't want to spoil it so I won't add much. There is plenty of action, some new characters and a Fight Club, which totally kicks ass!
The book was great and I loved reading it, it just sucks that I have to wait until 2012 to read the next book in the series, Eventide.
