I haven't read a "choose-your-own adventure story" since the early 90's, so I was excited to do it again for old times sake. At the end of certain moments you get to decide what Lucette will do. There 8 different ways this story can be read. I liked it at first then it lost some steam about 3/4 through. It was cute and a quick read but predicable. Fans of cute, sappy YA romance will like it a lot. I am going to read Cinderella: Ninja Warrior (Twisted Tales, #1) because even though I didn't love this book, I liked it enough to keep reading more from McGowen.

Liked: Cute
Disliked: Anticlimactic
Favorite Character: Alex
Least Favorite Character: Natasha
Favorite Part: When Lucette first met Alex
