Unlike Savannah Blues, this is not a murder mystery. When BeBe Laudermilk, a smart, sassy Savannah Laudermilk is taken in by a con man she loses her money, her house, and her grandparents' savings. The only thing she is left with is a crumpled motel in a not so posh area near the water. BeBe is determined-she goes to the Breeze Inn and meets Harry, a fisherman working at the Breeze in exchange for free rent. With the help of friends Weezie and Daniel, BeBe turns the Breeze into something special. Pretty soon she is running at full capacity. Then she hears word that the con man has been spotted in Florida. BeBe, Weezie, Harry and Granddad con the con man. It is very funny. A quick read. Good for the beach. Very good characters.
