I received this book from goodreads giveaway. I was super excited to read it because the story sounded really promising. I liked the concept that this young girl has to grow up and learn to over come her ability to taste the feelings in food. She can taste not only the feelings but where it was made and grown as well.

But after reading a little bit I had a problem. I don't know if it is because it was an ARC or this is how the book was published but there are not quotes for conversation. So I found myself rereading pages because I was reading the dialogue like it was all something that Rose was thinking.

My second problem with the book was the execution to the story. I found a lot of parts were irrelevant and didn't help progress the story any. Normally I am okay with this but sometimes I just thought "alright already, get on with the story."
