This was a really good book. Totally solid. I found myself in this weird place where I did not finish it saying Oh My God this was fantastic, but I found this book totally believable. I just kept getting the feeling upon finishing it that, there is so much more going on in this world that I want to find out about. I really feel that this world excists and that I have now had two good looks into it and I want to see more.

There was something lacking in this book, but I honestly can't put my finger on what it is. The characters are very real and believable, I love the inclusion of other Victorian era characters, probably missed some. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys alternate fiction as well as steam-punk, fantasy, or sci-fi.
