This book is a collection of monologues of characters, high and low, from a medieval town. It was written by a librarian in responce to a very fine class of elementary school scholars who, through their own research, became highly engaged in learing about this time period. Their good librarian came up with this. It seems well grounded in historical fact, but with the personal edge that comes when history is about people. The work is excellently done.
