Again, this book is from my favorite genre of historical fiction, and the fact that it traces a young Northern Civil War soldier just adds to my liking of this book. It's written by an author known for adolescent lit, so it is certainly a book that a young person would like. I have read it a few times and have enjoyed it each time.
