Harper Lee has my respect. Not only for writing her Pulitzer Prize winning novel but simply for just being herself. She is "just folks" and I liked hearing about her life, as much as you can from a biographer never granted an interview. I hope she never does interviews, I like thinking of her and her sister Alice just minding their own business - arguing over who is going to get the check :)

Best quote, the most recent from Miss Lee from 2007's O Magazine (Oprah scored by actually getting a response from Miss Lee and something for her magazine! - I could kick myself as I recycled that magazine and didn't even realize Miss Lee's letter was published in it, I would have save that!) -
" an abundant society where people have laptops, cell phones, iPods, and minds like empty rooms, I still plod along with books.."
