Guardians of Eternity, Book#2
A continuation of the story line started in the first book it centers around Viper, Dante’s ally, and Shay the Shalott that helped rescue Dante’s now mate Abby. As in the last book there is a continual chase throughout by demons after Viper and Shay. Only in this one the sex scenes are constantly being interrupted, much to Viper’s chagrin, by Levet a 3 foot tall french speaking gargoyle that is determined to protect Shay. The little demon is very endearing and I hope he is written into the third book.
The whining in this book was more of an internal mental struggle on Shay’s part rather than outward, which for my part I can tolerate...just. There’s nothing that puts me off more than one of the characters constantly making another character’s life intolerable by constant complaining.
As a continuation story it was an enjoyable read and I will be patiently waiting for book 3 Darkness Everlasting, coming out in May 2008, for the conclu...more
