Read in November, 2010

I heard this young woman present at the National Book Festival on 25Sep2010. She is a good presenter, relaxed and with a good sense of humor, and made me want to read her books. This book kept me reading to the end, because I suspected who the killer was. However, I was wrong, so therefore I consider this to be a good mystery. I perceive a major flaw, however, unless I am just not reading it intelligently enough. There were about 5 murders, and when the killer reveals himself, he says that one of them was not his. This seems to not have been picked up on, and is just left dangling. I would have given this a 6 otherwise, but downgrade it to a 5 because of this point. Also, I did not catch what the “research” was in/on, the stealing of which was one of the killer’s motives for the first murder.
