This book was about three sisters who grew up in a cult called "Children of God". This cult was a very sick group of people who practiced physical and mental torture through pornography, prostitution, and horrific acts of sexual abuse. This book was written in three different sides of each sister and they spoke about their childhood through early adulthood then eventually espcaping the cult and finding themselves in a healthier places in their lives. It was a very difficult book to read since there was several graphic accounts of sexual abuse in this book. I gave this book 3 stars not because it was poorly written, but rather because of the nature of the book was difficult to read.
