Surviving a Shark Attack (On Land): Overcoming Betrayal and Dealing with Revenge

In spite of how long I seem to have taken to read this, it's a quick read. The topic is dealing with betrayal and disloyalty *without* resorting to revenge, which makes the subtitle a bit of a tease. Lots of stories and personal experiences here, including many of Dr. Laura's own dealings, with an afterword about the recent problems that drove her from terrestrial radio.
There isn't much here that isn't just common sense; but common sense is hard to come by when we are overwhelmed with grief and rage. I will probably return to this book the next time I feel betrayed, if only to riffle through the pages and look at the carefully selected quotes that are sprinkled throughout, or perhaps find a story like mine, and consider the consequences of my first (bad!) impulses.
