One Little Sin (MacLachlan Family, #2)
by Liz Carlyle
by Liz Carlyle
This book was good, it was my first Liz Carlyle and I would like to move onto some more of her books, including the 3 in this series.
Esmee Hamilton has brought her 2 year sister Sorcha from Scotland to England to find Sorcha’s father (or who she thought was Sorcha’s father). When she arrived it was raining and Alasdair Mac Lachlan was drunk, but he took her in anyway and when he saw Sorcha’s eyes he was positive she was his and Esmee stays on as a governess, she had nowhere else to go anyway.
Alasdair has a reputation of being a rake and he is quite happy to admit to it, that he does as he likes when he likes. It does not take him long before he kisses Esmee and she enjoyed it and before he knows it though he is falling for Esmee but fights against it because of their age difference. He is 36 and she is 22 and an innocent.
I really liked both Alasdair and Esmee.
