Murder of a Small Town Honey ( Denise Swanson)
Murder/Mystery. Skye Denison left her rural , Illinois town of Scumble River and hoped to not look back. But things did not work out for school psychologist Skye in New Orleans. She was fired from her job and broke up with her boyfriend.

What she comes home to is a dead body, the elderly host of a childre'ns show, or so it appears. Upon medical exam turns out it is a beautiful young woman, a woman with a hidden past. Soon Skye's brother is arrested for the murder. But he is not the only one with motive. Skye is convinced her brother is innocent and she sets out to find the real killer.

Plenty of twist and secrets, a lot of people with motive. Past paced and enough drama to keep one reading into the night. I look forward to read the other books in the Scumble River mystery series.
