I am really impressed with Brandon Mull. He writes true to the age group/audience he is writing for and yet is enjoyable as an adult. Having children reading these books I was so pleased at how, for lack of a better word, appropriate he kept the books. They are fun, entertaining, and exciting. I also loved the underlying messages that Brandon is portraying in his stories as well. I think in time as he continues to write and progress in his writing he will be comparable to CS Lewis.
