This novel wrote by the famous author Stephen king is a very suspenseful, eye catching novel for young adults and up it has strong scenes and mature langrage inappropriate for some readers. The story begins in western Pennsylvania in 1979,Who new that a banged up car left in a shed for years could become such a twisted turned around story which is interesting and entertaining, the part that persuaded me to read this book was the opening paragraph, King didn’t start of boring he started up with a emotional and life connecting situation “Curt Wilcox’s boy came around the barracks a lot of years after his farther died, I mean a lot, but nobody ever told him to get out of the way” (pg1). Personally I don’t rather enjoy long books but after reading a couple of paragraphs I just wanted to keep reading. the characters in this book starts of rather childes but during the events took place they mature with knowledge of what took place. If you’re into strange long build up to the main event book ,this book will be good for you. This book was based in the 80s as I could assume it has people that was a live during WWII and it shows there experience with an example of how people will wake up “no one hasn’t ought to wake up unless it’s WWIII” “what if dat t’ing in dere is WWIII” (pg155). This shows how fear is only based around war. This book is about 481 pages long with an additional couple of pages with the authors personal notes which are on addressing the reader.
