i read the first one, and was hooked. i then found the second one, and i couldnt stop reading. Zara, Nick, Issie, and Devyn has locked up the pixies that ruled over the place, including Zara's real father, A pixie king. But with the king locked up, their need for blood grows larger, attracting new pixie kings from all around to town. Zara meets Astley, a king who claims that he's different from the pixies that she's known so far, and that Zara is his queen.
Basically, a whole bunch of things happen, and in the end, (WARRRNING!!; UBER SPOILER ALERT!!) Nick almost dies :(, and is taken away by this mystical creature to be a warrior for this upcoming "apocolypse" war battle that no one seems to know about. Then, Zara agrees to turn fully pixie and be Astley's queen (because she had no choice and realllly wanted to save Nick).
ANd that's how it ends. the next book is about how she, Astley, and her friends will find Nick and where he's being held. I CANT WAIT! (even though its already in the library.. haha)
