Simply Love (Simply Quartet #2)

by Mary Balogh
This book is just magic, so emotional and angsty, just the sort of book I love. A beauty and the beast story, one of my favourite types of story, and so incredibly well-done. It made me cry in several places, but it was such a lovely experience reading about how this couple fell in love and overcame their scars, his physical and hers mental, to come togther and truly love each other. It's such a dream that a man who is so scarred can still find a great love as he did, in view of the fact that he'd given up on it ever happening for him.
I love that the Bedwyns are part of this story. I know a lot of people complain about them being in so many books and a bit overwhelming, but I love them all and love revisiting with them.
I highly recommend this book as one of Mary Balogh's best of the best.
