it was amazing

The Bad Seed has a fairly predictable plot(especially if you are watcher/reader of horror or thrillers). But, it doesn't really matter. You'll find yourself dreading, and occasionally hopefully questioning, what you know is coming. You'll be holding your breath, not wanting to turn the page, just to prolong the inevitable for a second more. But you will turn the page. Because it's a really good book, and easy to read, in a slightly disturbing way. Not shocking, by modern standards at least, just a little tinge of anxiety. And as the book nears it's end, the anxiety grows. It's not just a cut and dry, all out evil, despicable, monster. It's a little girl. Somebody's daughter. How can someone possibly react in that situation? Which is more important, the safety of one loved one, or the safety of numerous strangers and acquaintances? It's not an easy choice, and it's the question that will keep you holding out until the end.
