This is it for me.

Good PNR series have a story arc that flows through the series. I thought we had reached the point in the Skin series where we would finally learn more about the Foundation and what kind of technology would give so many different superpowers in human beings. The science in the past books had been non-existent so I was expecting the author to flesh out the story and at least attempt to give an explanation of how this world worked. But to my surprise, the plot behind this book was exactly the opposite: to finish the powerful Foundation in one swoop so future books would be about random people with superpowers, without having to deal with a powerful enemy hunting them to threaten their HEAs.

WTF?

That is, if there any future books. Maybe this was just a way to finish a series the author didn’t know how to continue.

D.G. So far it's a bit all over the place but I hope it gets better. There's something about this series that I just like!
