667059 That surprises me.... It's probably only bc it's 20 years old. Years ago when I was in grad school it was pretty much required reading.

667059 I was in English; I've been out almost 15 years, though, so it's been a lonnngggg while. Benstock has since written a really admirable bio of Edith Wharton.

Thanks for asking about my stories---that's kind of you! I try to do mainly character-stuff. I like writing about people more than plots. One of my older ones is online. It's a bit of a downer; I'm trying to lighten up and do some comedy nowadays:
