What was it that made this novel so compelling to me? Was it that I could completely relate to the character (a working mom in her 30s who has a high-power job and is "balancing" it all, her daughter is named Lucy.), or was it the reminder about what is really important in life and that the only day we're guaranteed is today? I can't put my finger on it, but this book had me hooked from the very beginning. The characters are real and Sarah's journey is told with humor, some parts had me laughing out loud.
