Loved the narrator on this one. Her rendering was perfect.

The story was cute, but if it hadn't been for the humor, I wouldn't have liked it as much. I was laughing out loud at my desk, my colleague sneaking glances at me to make sure I wasn't having a fit. I'm from the south, and the southern hospitality and traditions described in the novel put me right at home.

This was a quick, breezy read, and one that I enjoyed. I'll definitely be picking up more of this author's work in the future.
