This book is focused on Karl and Hope. If you are a fan (which I very much am) they you will enjoy it very much.

Karl has left Hope for Europe. After they take their relationship to the next level, they end up broken up and Hope, eager to purge him from her system and prove she can control her chaos loving demon side, agrees to help Mr. Cortez of the Cortez cabal to infiltrate a gang of supernaturals in Miami, without Karl's help.

Everything starts off okay, Paige and Lucas even give her the green light about it being a legit mission. She becomes Faith Edmonds and joins the gang, quickly bonding with the members, especially Jaz, a new potential romantic interest, but soon it all takes a bad turn.

There are some things the cabal is hiding, there are some things that the gang is hiding. Faith/Hope starts getting in way over her head and to make things more complicated, Karl has found out she went on this mission to pay back the debt they both owed, by herself, and shows up in Miami.

Cabal members start getting targeted and Gang members go missing and start getting killed and Paige and Lucas come down to help figure out what exactly is going on....What they end up finding out was a nice twist. Plus there is the whole Hope/Karl business going on. Hope is trying to find out once and for all if she can control her chaos lust and Karl is trying to find out if he can settle down.

Like always, plenty of other sub-plots to keep you going and to peak interest for what you hope will be new books. The perspectives for this story are from Hope and Lucas (minimal). fun and quick read. definitely recommend to any Otherworld Series lover. Even Elena, Clay and the twins make a cameo.
