The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold
I thought that The Lovely Bones was essentially an exceptionally well-written young adult novel that was cleverly marketed to a wider audience--and yet, in no way did that ever diminish my opinion of the book or the impact it had on me as I read it. I can only hope this one proves to be half as good.
