Night Fall by Nelson DeMille
Another fun journey for Det. John Corey, this one an investigation into the crash of TWA 800 over ten years ago. The crash itself was pretty controversial since so many witnesses saw what looked like a missile take down the plane, including a good friend of mine who was finished surfing for the day when he saw the infamous "streak of light." It certainly added to my enjoyment of the book, though Corey is still a great character. My buddy told us all about the crash the next morning, before he was questioned by the FBI. We believed him then and now that there was more to this than the official story.
