I still agree with what I commented before I finished. I'd probably give it 2.5 stars if it were possible. There is some good info and a couple of interesting insights in this book but It overall didn't do much for me. I could see this being beneficial to someone looking to do heavy self-experimentation; I wouldn't call it a guide but a decent starting point. This book is, essentially, a wordy reading suggestion list.
In Progress: So far my opinion can be summed up in 'meh'. There are definitely some interesting concepts here but it just doesn't go into enough detail. For example, the polyphasic sleeping chapter. If you already were aware of the concept this chapter is essentially worthless. It's more of a "Hey this stuff exists, now go and buy a book about it." read rather than an in-depth explanation. To be fair I havent fully delved in to the physical chapters but from what I have read so far they've been just as skimpy on the details.
