I found this book highly enjoyable, partly because of the interesting story of mirror image twins who are almost killed by their father in child birth, only to have said father flee immediately following their birth and subsequent death of their mother. If you're at interested in the different aspects of the medical field, specifically being able to look at the evolution of money and discovery of various ways to cure a variety of diseases, I would recommend this book. Even if you're not overly interested in medicine, still give this book a read for the human aspects of the characters and the main characters interactions and growth with the country and characters around him.
