it was amazing

I am pretty biased here. My father founded a group that's dedicated to revering Fitzgerald (and, full disclosure one of my son's middle names is Fitzgerald in honor of said author). But, honestly if you want to talk about poetry - which isn't just the word choice - it's a lot about restraint - this is it. I kind of unconsciously measure everything against this. A truly perfect book. Fitzgerald said that after he wrote it he felt as though another force (I'm majorly summarizing) stepped in and wrote it for him - that it was more than he could have achieved as a person - and, it is more than human).
