I read this one after The Hellion and the Highlander. I thought that it was just a little better than okay. Lynsay Sands was still wordy of things that didn't seem important or could have been summed up. I felt like the character's fell a little short for me. The plot seemed a little predictable.
I think that Alex's character was lovable. Merry made me want to smack her a few times.
