Nabokov has a mastery over language that few people do. I crafts his prose in way that really speaks to me. I won't talk about the actual plot of Lolita, because plenty of others have done so (controversial to say the least).

I do think that Lolita raises a serious question, though, which is if we should humanize criminals, even if those criminals are of the most nefarious kind?
