Margaret's review of The Sound of No Hands Clapping: A Memoir
The Sound of No Hands Clapping: A Memoir by Toby Young
This was a good book, but I didn't like it as much as his first. I think it's because he really isn't on the outside--he's trying to succeed as a screenwriter in Hollywood, but he's already achieved success with his previous book. Plus, he's married with a kid. So it doesn't have that same kind of urgency and struggle as his first book. But it was still an entertaining read while being intelligent.
