3.5 stars. Again, the characters mostly carry this book. The first half of the book was very easy to put down, and I wasn't rushing to pick it up again. It took a long time to get going, though again, I love the characters. I didn't think Rule and Lily would be in the book much but they held a significant portion. I really like Cullen. I like his responses to events in the ending. The ending, by the way, picked up quite a bit and was thoroughly entertaining. I absolutely love Cynna's take on Cullen. It kinda started in the previous book, and I don't want to give too much away, but I love how she kept her head about her. She knows he's footloose and fancy free and that she doesn't like (or want to like) that type of man. She gives him the same regard he gives her. I thought that was awesome. I'm really looking forward to the next book.
