I really liked the idea of the book--a love that transcends time; two souls that will keep coming back till they have their happily ever after--and for the first couple chapters it held my interest. At the beginning, Weyn wove details from the previous life into the life currently being led by the characters. But 1/4 of the way through the book, it seems Weyn got bored with it and just let everything be to easy. Instead of the seperation of the lovers being traumatic (like a car accident) their deaths felt more inconveinant (like being stopped at yet another red light). It felt more like I was reading a very long outline for the idea of a book and not a finished product.

But what really got on my nerves were the two supporting characters, who are also the same souls reincarnated. I could not, for the life of me, figure out if the these two were supposed to hinder or help the main characters on the journey.
