If Angels Burn (Darkyn, #1)

First, the good. I really enjoyed this authors writing style, very easy to read. I also liked the wittiness of Alex, the main character. She was headstrong, smart, and clever.
The bad:
The plot was weak and I noticed a few holes, which was disappointing. I didn't quite get the relationship between the two main characters. Alex was seriously conflicted. "I hate you, I love you, I hate you, I love you" every few pages. Make up your mind already!! Their sex scenes were a bit cheesy given the situations in which they occurred. Seriously, out on the sidewalk? no man can refuse a blow job? Then he tears his pants off and drives away naked? please!?!
The first half of this book was great, I was so excited to finish it that I stayed up til 2:30am. Then it just became one big hot mess. I won't be reading anymore from this series.
