Energetic and lots of fun to read. I really like the style Riordan uses for this series(the 2 wisecracking, teasing siblings). The teasing brother and sister is so realistic even in this fantasy. I think this author is becoming an even better writer. I like the idea of how using the names of the Egyptian Gods (or any God) increases our knowledge of them, and that knowledge, in turn, increases their power in our lives. It's an intriguing theory for a youthful story.
