A very good (and, i think, the only) mystery story from the man best known for his 'Winnie The Pooh' books. A likable amateur detective with his equally likable and even more amateur 'Watson' keep it entertaining. I had actually figured out the main 'twist' of the story early on, but the certainty of all the characters to the contrary is convincing enough to throw you off the trail. It's not until very close to the end that the reader has enough information to really solve the mystery, so you're kept guessing rather than figuring it out early and being bored with the details.
