This is the story of an unlikely group of companions brought together on holiday in a remote and lonely farmhouse in Cornwall. At first glance, they appear to have little in common, but as the story unfolds, the reader soon realises that these unique characters are all, in their different ways, trying to escape their pasts. The highly readable style carries the reader along at a comfortable pace. The author describes her characters in a way that is both realistic and entertaining. Full of tangled relationships and haunting secrets, this is a must for any lover of women's fiction.
