Awesome book. Not really for everyone as Mantel is technically writing in the third person, but strives for a first person narrative from the P.O.V of Thomas Cromwell. That makes for some confusion in figuring out what character is talking, thinking, etc, until you catch on that 'he' is an indicator that it's from Cromwell's perspective. Usually. Anyway, the prose is brilliant, I dearly love the subject (Reformation English political maneuvering! Holler!), and this really makes me want to go get HBO's "The Tudors".
