This book was ok for me. I really expected to love it based on other books by Jerry Jenkins. The premise sounded intriguing enough, but I found the development of the characters to be so slow that I almost gave up. The pace was really sporadic, spending chapter after chapter on inconsequential events over the timespan of a week, then racing through what could have been very interesting times that amounted to years in the lives of the characters. I also found the conclusion very far-fetched. I'm not sure I would recommend this book.
