I liked this one, very fun, great descriptions and entertaining getting to know the characters.

I wish some things had been done differently, such as leaving the story to be told in Alice's perspective instead of switching between the other two characters just as I was beginning to really like her. It was confusing to switch back and forth, trying to remember who was the narrator for that chapter and what her personality was and how she differed from the others. I think if the perspective had stuck with just Alice we could have gotten to know her better and instead we got to see the others who didn't always seem that different from her. Also, there was a point that seemed just too coincidental to happen in the giant city of New York. Also, by the end of the book, I was pretty darn sick of dogs.

That said, the writer is really talented and this was the first book that I actually looked forward to reading.
