This is a solidly three star book, it wasn't horrible and it wasn't fabulous. About a character who often gets the short end of the stick in Tudor Fiction (Catherine Howard) it moved along nicely and while the writing wasn't spectacular and a bit repetitive (Anne of Cleaves spoke with clotted English, we are told often) but it wasn't horrid either.

I liked it enough to order her book on Bessie Blount.
