Well, this book... I feel really awful for saying this because I know that hearing this must be every authors' nightmare, but it really... sucked. I hate to say it and I usually don't, but it really did. Liz was a horrible whiny teenager with no personality at all. No, nobody in this book had a personality! Seriously. Owen was just plain annoying. HOW could they fall in love after knowing each other for like two weeks? And wasn't he all in love with his wife? And then just suddenly (after years of watching her) he just stopped loving her, because Liz, who he had known for a few weeks, showed up? Everything in this book confused me, but the plot idea was really, really good though, I'll give Gabrielle that. :)

Ariana ok! :D

Jill Although it certainly your prerogative to not like the book, I think it's obvious why Owen stopped loving his wife. When they met again, he was 17 and she was in her 30s, they had lived apart for 10 years, living in different directions! They were different people than they had been when they'ed been in love. Also, time moved a bit weird in the book, it seemed to move very slowly at some points and quickly at others…but I think his relationship with Liz had been significantly longer than two weeks when Emily came.
