really liked it

Hardly original in concept, and rather more predictable than the usual Koontz fodder, Odd Thomas still stands out as incredibly entertaining. It's not a book to blow your mind with, but it is something to sit back and enjoy for a light read.

It's classic Dean Koontz writing, with suspense in healthy portions (despite any aforementioned predictability). It is at times dark and terrible, but the tone is (as Odd is instructed) to be kept light.

I will definitely read the next book in the series once I get a chance at it. :D It will be interesting to see where Odd ends up next.
