** spoiler alert ** I thought this book was very "heavy" for a chick-lit book, but it really spoke to me. The story involves a girl named Rachel Walsh that is a drug addict who agrees to get help at a treatment center in her native Ireland and goes through a drastic transformation. I could really relate with her family issues and her extremely low self-esteem and, while I don't abuse drugs, I do experience anxiety and struggle with it every day. Her experiences after being released from the treatment center and the fact that she experienced periods of ups and downs until she finally straightened out, give me hope that someday, I too, can feel truly free.
